25 per month for Roon, so I uninstalled Roon. So you can then chose which of those outputs to enable.

Still testing.Dlna vs roon The new RoPieee XL does that too but at the same time makes the Pi an Airplay and DLNA renderer, just listening via just iTunes (a little more bass, not sure?) but it's not all that dramatic. Is there a simpler way to do this in the app without going in to prefs? So far I think I hear a slight change in sound vs. I have to go in to Audirvana prefs and select Built-in Output for the headphones and then go back and select Built-in Line Output for the speakers if I want to make a change. This does not seem to be the case with Audirvana. Is there any way to correct this? The other thing I noticed is that when I listen via headphones using iTunes the Mac will automatically silence the speakers and turn them on again when I unplug the phones. After downloading the trial and selecting iTunes Media I noticed that Audirvana did not include all of the album art that appeared in the iTunes window. I have a pair of Bowers & Wilkins PX headphones that I plug in to the Mac’s headphone jack which I also use.
Up until now I used my mid-2010 Mac Pro tower (OS 10.12.6) and thr current version of iTunes to play back music through either Bose or Yamaha speakers connected to the line out. Based on the positive reviews on this site I thought I’d try the Audirvana Plus trial.
